Why Kettle & Key
Al was the neighbor who showed up whenever he was needed and never asked for anything in return. Cindy started Kettle & Key to carry that forward.
Al was Cindy's husband. For as long as anyone can remember, he was the neighbor people called first: if you needed a hand, he was already on his way, and he never kept score or expected a thing back.
The kettle is for the visit: a warm kitchen and someone to sit with. The key is for the trust it takes to let someone into your home. We take both seriously.
After Al passed, Cindy founded Kettle & Key in his name, so that spirit could keep showing up for people, one visit at a time. She's likely the friendly face who'll come to your door.
Meet Cindy
Cindy spent 25 years as a house manager for the same family, until they passed. Since then she's worked with dozens of families nearby as a housekeeper and non-medical caretaker for older adults, so she's seen firsthand what a home needs to run smoothly and what a family needs to feel at ease.
Kettle & Key is a family business built on that experience, and on the example Al set every day of his life. We're small on purpose, and we care about showing up.
